Expert clone platforms
Aiyou, Steno, Coachvox, Delphi, Personify, BuddyPro
Trained on one person's body of work to answer as that person. This is the category if you want clients talking to your methodology in your voice.
We build one of the platforms on this page. You should read the whole thing with that in mind. What follows is a comparison that's still useful despite the conflict of interest, including four situations where Aiyou is the wrong answer and something else is better.
Most confusion in this category comes from comparing tools that don't do the same job. A coach evaluating Synthesia against Coachvox is comparing a video generator to a conversational clone. Sorting the field first saves more time than any scoring table.

Chatbase, CustomGPT, Dante AI
Answer from a document set. Fast, cheap, and good at FAQ deflection and lead capture. They don't carry a personality or a voice.
Synthesia, HeyGen, D-ID
Generate video of a person speaking. They do that well. Different purchase entirely: these produce content, not conversations.
Custom GPT, or a RAG stack
A custom GPT costs nothing and takes an afternoon. If you don't yet know whether your audience wants to talk to you asynchronously, this is the first step, and we'd rather you took it than paid us to find out.
A custom GPT will tell you within a week whether people actually want to talk to you asynchronously. What it won't do is sound like you, guarantee it's only drawing on your material rather than the model's general training, or live anywhere except OpenAI's platform behind a ChatGPT login. Those are the limits you hit once it works, and they're what the rest of this page is about.
Only the platforms a coach would realistically choose between. Video tools and chatbot builders are covered above and aren't comparable on these criteria.

Competitor capabilities and pricing change frequently. These are directional and based on public information as of July 2026 - verify anything that would decide your purchase.
You've read enough of these to know the vendor always wins. That's why there's no score out of 100 here.
The case is narrow, and it isn't a feature argument. Features tell you what works. They don't tell you how it fails - what your Twin says when it doesn't know, who owns the servers when you want to leave, or how far it drifts before anyone notices.
Four things make the case, when it applies.
Enterprise customers self-host: your infrastructure, your encryption, your retention policy, nothing leaving your environment. None of the other platforms here advertise self-hosting. If your clients are in regulated work, or your methodology is the whole business, this is usually the question that decides it.
Your Twin runs on a closed corpus: your content, never the open internet. When a question falls outside what you've addressed, it reasons from your documented frameworks or says it doesn't know. It can't invent a position you've never held and put it in your voice.
AI systems drift toward confident, generalised answers, because that's what users respond well to. Experts answer with conditions and exceptions. Every build includes a quarterly audit checking real outputs against your documented methodology, and a Brand Covenant defining what your Twin will never say.
Your first month is free: the Twin gets built and you use it with real clients before you pay anything. Plans start at $299 after that. Steno's entry tier is $500 and, by their own account, every customer starts there.
Start with what disqualifies platforms rather than what attracts you. It's faster.
Thirty minutes with a founder. We'll show you what your Twin would actually do with your frameworks, and tell you if one of the platforms above fits you better.
